Almost everybody arrives here from embroidery, and almost always for the same two reasons: the detail went missing and the colours were nearly right. Thread has a minimum line width and a fixed palette. Below that width your outline becomes fuzz, and your brand blue becomes the closest blue on somebody else’s chart.
Moulded PVC has neither limit. The rubber is mixed to the colour you specify and the mould holds detail down to about a tenth of an inch. That is the whole reason this material exists, and it is why a patch outlasts the jacket it was sewn to.
Why we exist
The patch trade is full of order forms: upload a file, pick a size, wait, receive a box, discover that the mould squashed your artwork. Nobody looked at the design before the tool was cut, because nobody was paid to look.
We put a designer in front of every order before any money moves. The free mockup shows the patch at real size with the matched colour swatches beside it, and for 3D work a rendered relief so you can see where the shadows will fall. Minimum order is 12, so a six-person crew is as welcome as a battalion.
What we mould
Soft PVC rubber, matte by default because it reads as issued kit rather than merchandise. It is UV stable, washes without bleeding and shrugs off the salt, fuel and solvents that fray a stitched patch within a season.
Backings are plain, adhesive or hook — laminated rather than sewn, so there is no thread line around the edge to catch and unpick. Where a garment has no loop field we supply matching loop panels cut to size. Glow pigment and retroreflective elements are moulded through the rubber, not painted on the surface, which is the difference you notice a year later.
